Week 17
It was a lovely spring morning yesterday for our club parkrunners to enjoy. No fewer than 36 members ran and volunteered making it a great turnout.
At Alvaston, always a popular one and even more so yesterday as Markeaton was cancelled, 25 members joined in, with Brian W and Sam B helping out with the volunteering - thanks guys! There were course PBs for Connah B and Conor O, with the latter also finishing first in his age category along with Danielle S and Maria G.
Down the road at Long Eaton, Barry B finished first in his age category and at nearby Shipley Country park, Gary L got a course PB.
Deanna S scooped the furthest parkrun, at Queen's parkrun in Glasgow, and Nicky P was once again down at Houghton Hall in Bedfordshire.
Brendan got his first "K" at nearby Kingsbury Water parkrun, Martin S debuted at Market Bosworth Country Park and Fiona F was up near Leeds in Yorkshire for Nostell parkrun.
