Week 8
Quite a mixed bag of parkruns to report today with our members getting out and about all over the country on what was a chilly morning.
Furthest travelled today was Dan W grabbing a top 10 place at Ruchill, Glasgow, where Zak M usually runs (but didn't today!).
Heading down south from Glasgow, in Moss Side in Manchester, Danielle S visited Alexandra parkun, and in Sheffield, Andy & Julie S made their debuts at Endcliffe parkrun.
Continuing down the country we had a trio of runners in Birmingham at Oaklands parkrun, with Sam B finishing in a cracking 3rd place! Then across we head into Wales near Swansea, where Chelsea W and Paul B were at Llyn Llech Owain parkrun, with Paul winning his age category.
Closer to home this week, Chris S won his age category at Brierley Forest parkrun, and three of our ladies, popped to Ashbourne where Fiona F collected an excellent course PB!
In Derby, Graham Y was first in his age category at Markeaton, and at Alvaston, 14 club members ran with Chris B getting himself a course PB, with Connah B and Kevin P both first in their age categories - Kevin also finishing in the top twenty.
Our glorious volunteers for the day were David B, Deanna S, Paul W, Raymond E, and Richard B, all helping out at Alvaston. Thanks all for your invaluable contributions!
