Week 13
There were no April Fools at yesterday's parkrun fortunately, as 31 of our members turned out for the start of the new month.
There were course PBs at Alvaston for Chelsea W, Chris B, Connah B, Conor O, Joe R, and Kieran M, with Connah, Conor and Sam B taking first spot in their age categories. Fiona F attended to the bollards at Alvaston helping out with the volunteering! Thanks Fiona!
There was a mini-club outing to Chasewater parkrun in the black country, west midlands, where Dan W, Nicky P, Simon B and Tony A all made their debuts. Martin S grabbed an excellent PB, with Dan and Tony first in their age categories.
Julie S was down in Northampton for her debut there, and Brendan D nipped up to Poolsbrook, also for his debut on the course.
Furthest travelled this week were Deanna S and Richard B, returning all the way up to Scotland for Perth parkun.
Well done everyone who volunteered and ran this weekend!
