Week 7
It was a bright and breezy morning for our Sinfin parkrunners earlier, and alongside the usual large gathering at Alvaston, there were a couple of smaller Sinfin groups heading to Ashbourne and Belvoir Castle also.
At Ashbourne all but Dan W made their debut visits, with Dan, Pascal S, and Tony A all finishing first in their age categories. Dan and Tony also both finished in the top 10, so top marks!
Five of our runners headed to Belvoir Castle for their first visit there, and Samuel B finished on the podium in 2nd spot! Tomas H also grabbed a top 20 position. Great running on a pretty tough course!
Back in Alvaston, 17 of our members ran, with Paul W and Raymond E helping out with some volunteering! Thanks guys! Connah B, Jason B and Maria G all were first in their age categories, and there were excellent course PBs for Chris B and Lorna C.
Also on the road this week, Kevin P made the short trip up to Brierley Forest parkrun, finishing in the top 10 and winning his age category, and furthest travelled today, was Deanna S and Richard B all the way down in Devon, at Cranbrook Country Park parkrun, near Exeter.
