Week 2
What a rotten morning! Drizzle, dark clouds, puddles, mud and a bit of a breeze! For some reason though parkrun attendances were high, as were the numbers of Sinfin members who turned up to get wet and dirty!
At Alvaston there were 20 runners including new member Deanna S who'd turned up dressed as a pineapple 🍍 to celebrate her 100th parkrun - and also brought some cakes along too! Danielle S was first in her age category, as was Jane W. Sam B grabbed a cracking 4th place in an excellent time of 19.12. Helping out for us today were Brian W and Ray E - thanks guys as ever!
Locally on the road, Pascal S got himself a PB at Beeston, and further afield, Catherine W got herself rather muddy but still managed a brilliant 6th place and was first lady home at Sandhall Park up in Doncaster. Just across in Sheffield, and also wallowing in the mud, Fiona F, Julie M and Sharon C made their first visits to Endcliffe parkrun.
