Week 6
It was a largely grey Saturday morning across the country but the sun poked out at Alvaston for our club parkrunners on what was a very mild February day. There were four excellent PBs for Brendan D, Chelsea W, Connah B, and Richard S. Finishing first in their age categories were Chelsea W, Kevin P, Maria G, and Richard S. Kevin P finished in an smashing 18th place. Helping out with a spot of volunteering were Raymond E, Simon B and Susan W. Thanks folks!
Over at Long Eaton, James S grabbed himself 19th place, and down at Dishley in Loughborough Deanna S ran a cracking course PB with Richard B who ran for the first time on the course. Zak at his home up in Ruchill, Glasgow managed a top 20 place.
Andy and Julie S debuted at Wollaton Hall parkrun, and furthest travelled this week were Robert L at Wycombe, and Joe R at Higginson parkrun, in the lovely Marlow - about 3 miles away from Wycombe - we can only presume football related!
