There was a massive turnout for Xmas Eve parkrun earlier, and some tourism too. At Alvaston a huge club contingent was there for Dan W's 50th with Dan getting a course PB, 1st in his age category, and....cake!! Well done Dan! Matt S steamed to a sub 18 and finished a magnificent 3rd place with a course PB. Danielle S also won her age category, and Catherine W was 1st lady home! Thomas S had an excellent run with a PB.
Locally on the road Andy and Julie S made their debuts at Dishley and Jane W won her age category at Rosliston.
Further afield, Julie H was at Blackpool for her first visit there, David L was down in London at Hackney Marshes parkrun winning his age category, and furthest travelled was Gary L, down in Plymouth, Cornwall for Plymvalley parkrun.
Thanks to Ray E and Simon B for marshalling today at Alvaston.
