At Sinfin RC we love to see our runners being highly active, taking part in club events, races, training, and being instrumental in helping the club move forward, in whatever form that happens to take.

Each month we like to celebrate this by awarding a club member our Runner of the Month Award.  This isn't necessarily all about who has run their fastest race in the month and got a fantastic PB - although that of course is something taken into consideration - but it's more about who has gone that little bit extra, based on their own abilities and achieved something seen as highly exceptional, be it taking big strides (pun intended) to improve their running massively, maybe running that first daunting race, going out of their way to help someone else achieve their goals, or shown a massive commitment to the club's monthly training sessions.

The award is handed out at the first Wednesday night club training session of the month, which also happens to be our social run & pizza night, making for an excellent celebration!  So who knows, could you be the next Runner of the Month?
